Otis...aka Eclipse Singin' the Blues was shown at his first weekend of AKC shows. He was awarded WD from the 6-9 month puppy class under judge Howard Atlee, for a 3 point major.
January 24 & 25, 2009
The new kids on the block, Otis, Gina, Rayne & Aurora went to the Canine Learning Experience. They all had a good time, and Saturday night Otis won his 3-6 month class, Rayne was second, Gina was third and Aurora was 4th in their 3-6 month class.
Sunday I couldn't go, but Rayne won her class, Gina got a 4th, and I don't remember what Otis did...sorry.

2008 in Review
We didn't do a lot in 2008, but being I just started this blog now, I'll post about a few things.
Definitely the highlight of my year in dog shows:
In June at the American Whippet Club Eastern Specialty, my girl Vanna...aka Daydream's Nights N' White Satin was awarded WB, BOW & BOB, from the Open bitch class, under judge Jack Simm. This was over Top Ten, BIS & Specialty winning whippets. She then went on to win a Hound Group 3 under judge Richard Byrd.
The day before the Eastern, my boy Rio...aka Sporting Field's Surfs Up was awarded RWD and Best Puppy (from the 6-9 month class) under judge Roberta Campbell, onto a Puppy Hound Group 4 under judge Daniel Smythe.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Vanna also ended the year a Grade C racer in CWA racing. I am very proud to own Vanna. Thanks to her breeders Linda & Erin Day & Kari McCloskey.
On a sad note: My beloved Emily...house dog extroidinaire, and my beautiful Cinder both passed over to the Rainbow Bridge. I miss them both terribly.
